How do I Become a Christian

Jesus fully paid the price for our Salvation on the cross of Calvary and offers
it to us as a free gift. In order to receive this gift we must accept it. In order to
accept it we must accept Him and commit our life to Him.

In order to do this we must:

ADMIT:

We must admit that we are a sinner and in need of a Savior. This condition is not
unique to us. Romans 6:3 states, For all have sinned and come short of the
glory of God. God takes sin very seriously. The first part of Romans 6:23 states: "For the wages of sin is death".
If you are willing to make this ADMISSION, then you are ready to receive SALVATION

BELIEVE:

We must believe that Jesus Christ is God; that He was born of a virgin; lived a
sinless life; died on the cross to pay the price for our sin; rose again on the
third day; ascended back to Heaven where He is now seated at the right hand of
the Father awaiting the time when He will return.  In short, we must BELIEVE that
HE IS GOD and that He CAN and WILL forgive our sin if we ask Him to.  The second
part of Romans 6:23 states, 'But the gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ out Lord.
If you BELIEVE these things, then you are ready to receive SALVATION

COMMIT:

We must commit our lives to Him by CONFESSING our sin to Him; asking Him to FORGIVE our sin; and to COME into our heart and help us to FOLLOW Him from this day on.
If you are ready to make this COMMITTMENT, then you are ready to receive SALVATION.

Here is how the Bible says that we are to receive Christ: Romans 10:9-10 . .
If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and will believe in your
heart that God has raised Him from the dead, YOU SHALL BE SAVED.  For with your
heart you believe unto righteousness and with your mouth confession is made unto salvation.

ADMIT, you are a sinner,
BELIEVE what you read above about Jesus, and are ready to...
COMMIT your life to Him

then PRAY this Prayer in your own words.

Dear Jesus,
I admit that I have sinned against You. I believe that You died for me and I humbly
ask You to show mercy on me and forgive me. Please come into my heart and help
me to live for you. I believe Your Word and come to You as You have told me to
for Salvation. For this reason I know that I am now SAVED!
  Amen
